Self care tips for Students


 Take a break

Being an online student involves a lot of time sitting down and staring at your computer screen. As Important it is to get things done, its equally as important to take breaks to get away from the pressures of studying. So, make sure you are taking regular breaks to give your body a stretch and grab some fresh air and get your daily steps in by going on a leisurely walk and appreciate the outdoors. Waking has lots of benifits and is a great way to clear your mind.


Get plenty of sleep

Lets be real, when you have university deadlines, it’s tempting to sacrifice sleep and drink endless cans of Red Bull, However sacrificing your sleep can be detrimental to your health.  Aim to get 7-9 hours sleep per night, it’s much better to wake up feeling refreshed and motivated than to wake up feeling groggy and unmotivated.



Make a playlist with your favourite songs: Have you ever heard your favourite song come on and instantly felt better? Try making a playlist with all the songs that make you feel good and listen to it when you need a pick me up.


Clean home, Clean mind 

With lockdown, you’ll be spending a lot more time in your homes. Keeping your living space clean and tidy can boost your mental health. If you’re guilty of having a messy, cluttered room you could be damaging your psychological health so get the hoover out and


Prioritise YOU

Make yourself a priority every day. Whether that be a pamper session or playing your favourite game and watching a movie. Giving yourself a rest from your studies will ensure you come back refreshed and motivated.
