Off to uni and not sure what to take? Everyone’s knows the basics but here’s a few things that you might have forgotten about that you’ll NEED…
Pasta bake will be on the menu roughly 3 times a week, so a deep dish to cook it in is essential. Get one with a bit of a handle so you don’t drop it getting it out of the oven!
The perfect addition to any uni room, and great for when the big light just isn’t cutting it. Makes it so much cosier and homelier!
You will be spending a lot of your time in this so get the biggest fluffiest one you can find. It will come in handy for those hungover Sundays on the couch or that 2am run to the toilet.
Re-Useable Water Bottle
Hydration is key and by having a water bottle with you at all times is an easy way to make sure you’re keeping topped up. Ones with a built in straw make it even easier!
Its inevitable that at least some of the people you live with during your time at uni will be snorers, night owls or getting home loudly after a night out. Ear plugs are a great way to ensure you get a good nights sleep and avoid any tension between you.
Handled Laundry Basket
You might be tempted to get an adorable (yet flimsy) basket for your laundry, or a big wicker one instead to match the #aesthetic. Trust me, not a good idea. Get one with handles that is big enough to fit a full load in but is still flexible enough to carry up and down stairs.
A good set of earphones can be helpful in so many situations, from library all nighters to venturing down into the kitchen when you’re not in the best of moods. Get once that block out outside noise and are good quality, being wireless will be a blessing too.
